Oliver McGowan Tier 2 Co-Trainers with lived experience
People with lived experience have a vital role to play in improving how health and care staff understand and support people with a learning disability.
The Hub Plus is recruiting Oliver McGowan Tier 2 Co-Trainers with lived experience to support the delivery of Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training. This is a paid, self-employed opportunity for people with a learning disability who want to help educate and influence health and care professionals.
As a co-trainer, you will help deliver training covering:
- Learning disability
- Autism
- Reasonable adjustments
- Mental health
- Communication
We're looking for people who can:
- Speak in front of groups
- Work well with others
- Help people feel comfortable
- Be flexible and adaptable
What you'll receive
- £20 per hour (once accredited)
- Travel expenses covered
- Support throughout the programme
- Induction training before starting
