We are team who deliver and has big plans and ideas to continue to support our brilliant General Practice Team in Derby and Derbyshire. We are a single point of access for training, support and development ensuring there is complete ‘wraparound’ team support, whether clinical, non-clinical, managerial or leadership.

Are you an experienced healthcare professional with a passion for teaching and learning? Are you keen to share your expertise in a professional training and development environment?

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of primary care by delivering high-quality training and creating an inclusive learning .

We are seeking skilled and dynamic Clinical staff (GPs, GPNs, ACPs, Pharmacists) as well as Non-Clinical staff (ARRS, Team leaders, Practice Managers) to join our bank of expert educators on a flexible, contractor basis.

About the Role

As a Trainer, you will:

  • Deliver engaging expert training both in-person and online
  • Use a range or teaching and learning methodologies including evidence based or scenario-based training sessions
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices, protocols, and emerging healthcare trends
  • Support professional development through interactive workshops, Primary Care case-based discussions, and skills training
  • Create and adapt training materials to suit different professional groups and learning needs
  • Develop schemes of work and session plans and receive feedback

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from experienced GPs, Nurses, ACPs, and Pharmacists, ARRS and Managers currently registered or working within primary care in Derbyshire, with:

  • Strong expertise and background with relevant qualifications
  • Previous teaching or training experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across digital and in person formats
  • The ability to engage and inspire learners across different disciplines who will act as a Champion for Hub+ services
  • A current DBS certificate
  • Own professional indemnity and insurance
