Applying for an Apprenticeship

If you have found an apprenticeship position on the NHS Jobs / employers platform, you can apply directly from there. If you aren't sure what apprenticeship you want to apply for or what might suit you and your career goals best, you can visit another part of our apprenticeship hub that shows all the different apprenticeships available in General Practice here: thehubplus.co.uk/standards OR you can drop us an email on ddlmc.thehubplus@nhs.net and we can advise you and if you can't find a practice within Derby or Derbyshire that are recruiting for the apprenticeship you want to do, let us know and we can help find a vacancy with you.

What you'll need

Once you have found the apprenticeship you want to do, you will need an up to date CV which shows what qualifications and experience you have that will prove you are relevant for the role. You may also want to think about writing a cover letter when applying, these can be really useful when employers are looking to see if you are the right fit for the jon. If yu want more information and advice about writing CV's and cover letters you can visit the GOV.UK national careers service website here: CV advice | National Careers Service
