An exciting opportunity has become available within The Hub Plus, Derbyshire for a Nursing Associate or Student Nursing Associate (within 2 months of completion of training) to work within a small dynamic team to raise the profile of the Nursing Associate (NA) role and support peers and trainees working in primary care in the county.
Job Summary: The NA Ambassador role will directly impact the advancement of the NA workforce across Derby and Derbyshire. You will act as a career specific champion, promoting the role to potential trainees and Primary Care Networks whilst supporting those currently in post through networking and induction, integration and preceptorship programmes.
The work of our Ambassadors enhances understanding of new roles, ensuring high standards of clinical practice, a feeling of belonging across the primary care landscape and promotion of general practice careers.
We are looking for an organised, dynamic individual who will work alongside our existing, approachable team and build relationships across the Derbyshire health care system. This role is designed for someone who can respond to challenges, is self-motivated and is passionate about both supporting others and achieving quality patient care. The post holder will work alongside our GPN Educator and within the supportive The Hub Plus, Derbyshire team.
Candidates must be a current nurse associate working within primary care in Derbyshire. We particularly welcome candidates from under-represented groups.
Key Deliverables: This role is offered in line with a Nationally funded programme, which seeks to increase capacity for additional Student Nursing Associate (SNA) placement opportunities by increasing students in the Nursing Associate Programme. Key deliverables include:
