Jonathan Roach

I come with 15 years of experience in and around the fitness industry. From personal training, running a small boot camp and training a gold medallist for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic.
In recent years I’ve worked with elite disability sports as technical staff as well as assisting in strength and conditioning training for disabled athletes.
I believe that true wellbeing comes from having a health body and an even healthier mind. You can’t have one without the other.

Holistic health and wellbeing was an interest of mine ever since I can remember. I worked in gyms, sport centres and studios across Derbyshire, delivering yoga and meditation classes as well as various wellbeing workshops and retreats. I also ran my own Reflexology Clinic, with a focus on supporting women in understanding their own health, wellbeing and self-care.

Overcoming my own challenges and difficult life experiences allows me to be able to fine tune to others’ needs and provide relevant support with understanding.

I offer guidance in breathwork, relaxation techniques, mindfulness, acupressure self-massages, EFT (emotional freedom technique), as well as elements of Happiness Coaching in my sessions.

Watching people walking out relaxed and a little bit happier after spending some time with me is the best feeling in the world and something that gives me a sense of purpose, but equally empowering others to be able to use those tools and techniques for themselves is very rewarding.
