EDEN GLP1 - Initiation Session

Target Audience:  Open to All Clinical Roles 

This session is for anyone who would like to gain the skills and confidence to initiate GLP1 therapy.
For HCPs who manage patients on oral therapies and have a good basic knowledge of T2 diabetes management.

Understand where GLP1 therapy is placed in Derbyshire T2 diabetes guidelines.
Know which GLP1 (or GLP1/GIP) to start and all that are available
Benefits and potential adverse reactions to GLP1 therapy
How to dose and administer GLP1
How to adjust other diabetes medications to reduce risk of hypoglycaemia.
