What will I learn:
1. Understand the anatomy and physiology of the foot
2. Identify the risk factors associated with diabetic foot complications,
3. Recognise the signs and symptoms of diabetic foot complications
4. Learn foot assessment techniques
5. Understand the principles of preventive foot care for individuals with diabetes,
7. Develop skills in patient education and counselling regarding the importance of foot care, self-monitoring, and when to seek medical attention.
8. Understand the importance of comprehensive diabetic care.
9. Practice evidence-based strategies for the prevention and management of diabetic foot
You must have line manager approval before booking.
