​Course title: Searching for Evidence using the CINAHL database

​Description: This 1 hour webinar will be led by Aneesa Lindau, the Primary Care Knowledge Specialist Librarian for Derbyshire. The session will give you an opportunity to learn how to design an effective search strategy from your research question. Learn how to search for authoritative healthcare research efficiently to support patient care, service improvement, research, professional development and coursework, with a focus on the CINAHL database.

​What will I learn?

​Participants will learn how to:
​• Understand records, fields and indexing terms – laying the ground work for effective searching
​• Design search strategies
​• Subject searching using Medical Subject Headings (MeSH)
​• Subject searching with keywords
​• Understand Limits and Filters
​• Handle results ​
