Leg Ulcer Study Day- September 2024

​The course will provide one day of theory and one day of practical compression bandaging application and Doppler.
​1. Module 1 Anatomy and Physiology of the lower limb
​2. Module 2 Leg Ulcer Aetiology
​3. Module 3 Introduction to Compression Bandaging
​4. Module 4 Introduction to Compression Hosiery
​5. Module 5 Doppler and ABPI assessment
​6. Stages of Wound Healing, Biofilm and Wound Infection
​7. Skin Tears to the lower limb
