That belief has shaped everything we do since The Hub Plus was established in 2016. What began as a small Health Education England-funded project with three members of staff has grown into Derbyshire's trusted workforce, leadership and development partner for primary care.
As the challenges facing general practice have evolved, so have we. From workforce shortages and increasing demand to the introduction of new roles and changing population needs, we have remained focused on one purpose: supporting the people who deliver care every day.
We have strengthened relationships with general practices across Derbyshire, expanded access to high-quality learning and development, enhanced workforce retention and wellbeing support, and continued investing in the future primary care workforce. Together, these achievements are helping practices build resilient teams, improve workforce experience and create stronger foundations for better patient care.
