Learning Outcomes
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the national and local picture of men's mental health.
- Identify barriers to help-seeking and ways to improve engagement.
- Describe local support available across Derbyshire.
- Apply practical consultation techniques to support men presenting with mental health concerns.
- Recognise risk factors and contribute to safety planning.
- Understand when presentations may indicate psychosis and require escalation.
