Aim:

This evening brings Primary Care colleagues together to celebrate the richness South Asian communities bring to our practices and our patients. Expect a warm, informal atmosphere with good food, good company, and a chance to connect with colleagues across the system.

Agenda
6.30pm to 7.00pm: Welcome, registration, networking, mehndi and bindi
7.00pm to 7.05pm: Introduction to the EDI programme at The Hub Plus
7.05pm to 7.15pm: Dr Seema Kumari on what South Asian Heritage Month means to her
7.15pm to 7.30pm: Dr Siri Potluri performs Kathak dance
7.30pm to 8.00pm: Food, mehndi, bindi, networking and close

The Kathak performance is a real highlight of the evening. Dr Potluri brings years of training to the stage, and it's a rare treat to see this art form performed live. Our mehndi and bindi stations run throughout the evening, so take the opportunity to get involved and try something new.

A light Asian buffet will be served during the second half of the evening.

Feel free to wear cultural or South Asian dress if you'd like to. We'd love to see the diversity of our workforce reflected in the room.
