 Aim:

BLS will be covered, with the ABCDE approach, a brief discussion on Sepsis and an anaphylaxis update and discussion on the 2021 guidelines

By the end of the session participants should be able to:-

Perform an ABCDE assessment inc. Anaphylaxis recognition and management and Sepsis
Use the emergency equipment and medication within the Practice appropriately
Perform CPR as required on any age group e.g adults, children and infants
Use an Automated External Defibrillator safely and appropriately
Know the choking algorithm for all age groups
Know how to put a casualty into the recovery position
Be aware of changes to resuscitation guidelines considering Covid-19
