1-1 Career Conversations

Career Conversations have been set up to help all existing staff working within primary care in Derby and Derbyshire who might be thinking about their career.

You can speak to The Hub Plus colleagues who have relevant experience and/or qualifications to help and advise all staff who may need it. This is to you to think about your career pathway, progression plans and what options are available to you.

The conversations usually last 15-30 minutes and take place online via Microsoft Teams. Once you have completed an expression of interest form, one of the team will be in touch to provide you with available dates.

If you would like to take up this opportunity, please complete the following form: Complete form here

If you have any issues accessing the form, please email us on dlmc.thehubplus@nhs.net or by calling 07883 328933.

Mentoring Mentoring

Mentoring

Our Derbyshire mentoring offer is available to GPs seeking support for professional and personal development, for example, to make important career decisions, considering a partnership role, exploring a return to the profession, dealing with burnout, or exploring work-life balance.

These conversations are designed to support you in creating learning, self-development, and improved performance in a way that benefits you. The mentor is trained to help you stretch your thinking, to support you in looking at things in new ways, and to assist you in finding solutions and answers to questions you might be posing yourself.

We are able to offer up to a maximum of 6 hours of mentoring over a period of 12 months, with trained mentors who have extensive experience working within General Practice.
